I haven't followed his case, but I remember him getting done for pics on his PC, abd I know the worst rape charges were dropped for lack of evidence. He paid some families some money and the families appealed for leniency on his behalf....after they got the money, of course.
You have to consider the possibility of a cash chasing stitch up over in the far east, but I don't know enough to have a strong opinion.

I think Hatred's point is as he was considered the most RAMPANT of wrong 'uns there's not been many people coming out and pushing for charges.
Although he might have done a lot of his work abroad, I bet anyone called Mr Gritter is shitting themselves the Thai police come over.

His music used to be played on the radio all the time before it become aware that he was a nonce...
Was on the TV a lot as well...
Of course, it's the right thing to do as you don't want a child-abuser pocketing more cash and getting substantial air-time but it still feels weird when they suddenly disappear...
